The Lodge at Deadwood
The SDTA Annual Meeting and Conference is just around the corner, beginning Sunday, August 20 and continuing through the morning of Tuesday, August 22. We are once again back at The Lodge in Deadwood, at 100 Pine Crest Lane.
Early arrivals can check-in at the conference registration desk at The Lodge between 1 and 4 p.m. (MDT) on Sunday afternoon. We’ve arranged a variety of social activities on Sunday including tee times at the Tomahawk Lake Country Club outside of Deadwood, self-guided tours of the South Dakota Mine Museum in Lead, and back at the Lodge, beginning at 5 p.m., a social and music from folk and Americana artist Jami Lynn, with poker and slots tournaments to follow.
Monday will begin with breakfast followed by committee meetings and a full day of excellent presentations. Our keynote speaker for the conference is change and leadership expert and corporate humorist, Tim O’Shea. Participants in the guest program on Monday will get into the Deadwood spirit with a poker run to locations that will include shopping, exploration and lunch. The banquet will again feature a silent and live auction benefiting the COTEL PAC, with entertainment to follow by “Sound Blast Dueling Guitars.”
We hope to see you in Deadwood for the 2017 Annual Meeting & Conference. Registration can be completed online.
